It’s like a Silmarillion for a far less interesting world. I quite enjoyed seeing the creation of the Sword of Truth, and learning more about the war in the past. Goodkind seems to have one single story that he can tell, imparting the exact same themes over and over again. Learn more about possible network issues or contact support for more help. Where Richard inexplicably learns confesspr fight like a master swordsman from the sword in seconds three thousand years in the future, this is an explained event.

Was it an improvement over his previous two books? I cannot grasp why one cannot differentiate between the emotional and reasonable cognition involved.
My brother actually saw it on shelf somewhere and called to give me smack about not telling fkrst about.
I finished it in one marathon session. Though the characters may be entertaining and likeable, they are, unfortunately, far from original. Additionally, there are traitors amongst those claiming to be loyal, directing the Dream Walkers to the most opportune hosts. I could write a novel myself on my thoughts but I do not want the story shared for you here.
Another thing that bothered me is that it felt like it was written for a junior audience. Sort of like running into an old friend you haven’t seen in years. If you are a fan of The Sword of Truth, and would enjoy some more light being shed on the back story, and don’t really mind that it’s terribly written, this book is for you. It felt as the story was being dragged along, because for page after page there was nothing really happening, for example, in think 5 pages of constantly sayingbMagda needs to rest in between other dialogue is quite excessive. I feel like reading Confessor first would certainly spoil some of the mystery set up throughout that series. We have to live by what is. We got the message way back around book 3, I think. Another scene involved a lantern light being flashed in the faces of some guards, catching them unawares. Goodkind, and you fan base will thank you for it. This novel is about how to move on, through even the most trying and unthinkable of events in life: Drop back a few years; this book came out, but it was only offered in electronic format.
