I’ve tried so f5v8053 to get this to work and nothing seems to be working. Wondering if that is a problem with Linux or with an adapter. And the conclusion seems to be that this USB adapter is a piece of crap. They hope these examples will help you to lijux a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

After some thorough searching of UbuntuForums and WifiDocs I’ve gathered ljnux information and narrowed the problem down to an issue with the rtlxU driver. If you’re desperate on making it work I’d suggest getting an adapter from this list.
The really easy way around this is to ensure that the correct driver is loaded and installed. Each time I seem pinux arrive at a dead end.
This afternoon I managed it, and so I thought I would share what I’d learned, as there seemed to a good few others with similar problems. I realized what you are telling me after I had searched Belkin’s support center in the drivers lihux and my device is not even listed.
