Do you have any Microsoft Windows machines on your network that you have setup lzserjet printer as well? Aaron, Excellent, however I don’t think fixing the documentation actually fixes this bug. It is a shame that there is more than technical issues going on here.

The MFP can be configured successfully using hplip-setup, so I propose to close this bug. In your case, rather than downloading hplip Launch your browser and open http: Scanning works right for some time now since hplip included the proprietary plug-in.
Installation process will be quite long as the script will download and install missing dependancies and download the HPLIP plugin. The installation wizard should start up and help you install the drivers.
